I liked my stay at Accent Inns Kamloops, we only stayed one night and the room was clean.
The hotel was clean but it seemed like a well kept motel more than an Inn and I expected more value for my money in a city where there are virtually not tourist attractions. We only stayed here because it was a convinent location since we were driving across BC.
The room was very spacious and clean and quiet. We like to be able to have breakfast early in the morning before we leave to our next destination.
Location was excellent for our purposes.
We were placed in a 'pet room' (smaller and less clean) because of our 20 lb dog ... and I was fairly uncomfortable through the night (allergic to cats & some other furry things). The room did not seem clean (black dog hair on the bathroom floor) and the bathroom/wash area was, at best, cramped. For this much smaller room we were charged fully plus $20 additional for the dog.
I really appreciated that the staff satisfied my requested a particular room upon my arrival. Thats great service.
Clean, comfortable, not crowded, close to highway, close to restaurant.
nothing specially good or bad that I can think of.
The staff seemed to be really pleased to see you and happy to help in any way possible
It was convenience to the shopping area and easy to find. We stayed at the 3rd floor and facing the city, pretty and nice.
Good location if you need a hotel when you are driving to another desination.
Do not stay in a room that faces the highway side. We got zero sleep verry noisy. I have stayed at the same hotel with a room on the city side and had no problems.
Staff were good. Liked the fact that there was an elevator
the only complaint was the noisy fridge and hvac. Kept me awake
the location to were i was heading and adjacent resturants and shopping
We had a first floor room. Loved the easy accessibility (mildly handicapped). We also liked the close proximity of restaurants and shopping.
We had difficulty finding the hotel as the address given on your website and correspondence is Columbia Street but there is no actual access from that street - one must access from Notre Dame street. Even our GPS couldn't figure that out!
Staff were super-friendly and helpful, many restaurants neraby, close to the highway
Short distance to bus station and relatively low cost.
Some mechanical noises in room. Morning noises of other guests showed pretty thin walls :)
Laundry -washing machines & dryers for customers to use. Apples & coffee in reception in the morning, pleasant helpful reception staff who were helpful with suggestions for restaurants and places to stay along our route.
